PETERSBURG-AK The 50th anniversary celebration of Petersburg’s Little Norway festival kicks into high gear on today. It’s the first day for the downtown Husflid……with a tent full of food booths and concessions stands lining main street and beyond. Today’s traditional little Norway events include the Scandinavian style show and the annual festival parade…of course the Vikings and Valkyries will be rampaging through the streets. Matt Lichtenstein got a preview of Friday’s schedule from festival chairs Janet Holten and Sally Dwyer.
