PETERSBURG, AK Local school students who take part in sports and other extra-curricular activities this year will be seeing some different punishments for using alcohol, tobacco and drugs. The Petersburg school district is rewriting its rules for student athletes to come into line with a new statewide rule. …and members of the school board last week suggested some big changes to the district’s minimum punishments. However, the new local rules will be seeing more revisions over the next few months.
