PETERSBURG-AK Petersburg harbor users can give their opinion on harbor services and costs next month. The city council has finally approved a survey that will go out with the next billing. The effort was prompted by concern over rising moorage rates. The city had hoped to put the questionnaire out earlier but was waiting for more input from the harbor advisory board. The board came up with a recommended revision last week and the council approved it Monday night but it was not unanimous as some councilors were not satisfied with the harbor board’s version.
