PETERSBURG, ALASKA Local boat owners want covered areas to do maintenance work on their vessels and onshore space to store their boats. Those were some of the findings from a survey of the local fleet. The results of that survey and an analysis of the region’s marine services industry were presented to the public and the Petersburg Economic Development Council last week. The information may help that group decide whether to pursue a public marine haul-out facility in town.
