PETERSBURG, AK Petersburg will add its name to an agreement among coastal Alaska communities on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dealing with global climate change. Petersburg’s city council Monday gave the green light to sign the Alaska Coastal Communities Global Climate Change Compact, despite some misgivings among council members.
