PETERSBURG-AK A trio of Seattle-area musicians are bringing an eclectic blend of original songs to Petersburg. Over his 25 year plus career, Singer-songwriter and guitarist Paul Benoit has performed blues, folk, roots-rock, jazz and world music – both acoustic and electric. The Paul Benoit trio is performing several nights of shows at Kito’s Kave this weekend and next. Benoit is working on his 7th solo CD and recently released an album of children’s songs, which he’ll perform in a special show for kids at the public library Friday afternoon at 2. The Trio is performing for grownups at ten pm thursday through Saturday nights this weekend and Thursday through Sunday nights next weekend at Kito’s Kave in Petersburg.
