PETERSBURG, AK Local residents Saturday night can enjoy the talents of the guitarist and composer Chris Proctor, as the national fingerstyle champion makes his first visit to Petersburg. Proctor will perform at a fund raiser dinner, silent auction and concert put on by the Petersburg Arts Council. He’s been recording his acoustic guitar music for nearly three decades and has performed around the world. His work appears on 10 CDs. The latest studio recording is the 2007 album “Ladybug Stomp” and he plans to release another album next year. Joe Viechnicki spoke with Proctor about his performance this weekend.
