Petersburg should see its electric rate drop in the near future. That’s according to the town’s power and light superintendent who gave an update on several issues at last
Tuesday’s City Council meeting. Joe Nelson also reported that Petersburg and Wrangell had just had record power usage and he gave an update on efforts to move the diesel power plant to Scow Bay.
