Consumers won’t have to pay sales tax in Petersburg on May 5th. Despite some reservations about the timing this week, the City Council approved the date for Petersburg’s first sales-tax-free day. The Mayor and Councilors also had an executive session to talk about the Northern Boundary for Petersburg’s proposed borough.
