Nearly 570 Petersburg Residents had their blood taken in advance of this weekend’s local health fair. They’ll be able to see their results Saturday, from cholesterol levels and signs of diabetes to the optional PSA and TSH screenings for prostate or Thyroid problems.
The biennial event includes dozens of local and visiting presenters in health care, fitness, nutrition, and a variety of other fields. Matt Lichtenstein spoke with health fair committee chair Judy Forgey and medical technologist Miriam Swanson:
The Petersburg health fair takes place from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday in the community gym.
