A crowd gathered at Fisherman’s Memorial Park in Petersburg Sunday afternoon to welcome the 2012 fishing season and remember lost loved-ones. The annual Blessing of the Fleet is a spring tradition in fishing towns across Alaska. Matt Lichtenstein produced this audio postcard:
