Fishing was slow for many anglers in Petersburg’s Salmon Derby this year, but they still managed to land 309 fish and have lots of fun. As always, there were plenty of fish tales to tell, from the one that got away to the 45.6 pound king that topped the entry list.
At the close of the four-day event, KFSK’s Alexis Kenyon stopped by the derby weigh-in station to talk with first place winner Thomas Cumps and several other participants.
