Representatives from Juneau, Kake and Goldbelt incorporated made arguments against Petersburg’s borough plan Thursday. It was the second day of the Local Boundary Commission’s hearing in Petersburg. The City’s witnesses had a chance to respond to borough opponents and there were lots more comments from the general public. In all, more than 50 people turned out to speak for or against the borough. Matt Lichtenstein has a sampling of the comments.
