A plan aimed at establishing a hatchery king salmon return to Frederick Sound near Petersburg is gathering local support. Proponents gave presentations during Monday’s City Council meeting and Saturday’s meeting of the Petersburg’s Fish and Game Advisory Committee. Matt Lichtenstein reports:
