A Petersburg teen will be teaching her younger peers about electricity and other subjects during spring break. High school junior Diane Murph is running the girls day camp for her Girl Scout Gold Award project. The gold award is the highest achievement in girl scouting. The camp starts Monday morning for girls fourth through eighth grade. Matt Lichtenstein spoke with Murph about it:

Electricity Girls Day Camp runs from 10 am to 3 pm, March 18th through the 20th at Petersburg’s Lutheran Church Holy Cross House. It’s open to 4th through 8th grade girls and space is limited. To sign up, you can call 772-9216.
