Borough looks for less-costly police station

Petersburg officials are taking a step back in planning for a new Police station. A much higher-than-expected cost estimate prompted the borough assembly to put the design process on hold while the borough manager looks for less expensive alternatives. That prompted concern from some project proponents who worried the police station would wind up on the back burner. Matt Lichtenstein reports:
