Beth Flor explores different subjects in new paintings

Petersburg painter, Beth Flor is well-known for her green landscapes and still lifes of fruit. She’s exhibiting her latest work at the Miele Gallery with an opening Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. But this time there won’t be any landscapes and the still lifes aren’t just fruit.

Flor told Angela Denning that the show features paintings from the last two years. It includes about half a dozen pieces that Flor calls a departure from her usual style.
