32 students, 24 boys and eight girls received diplomas at a commencement ceremony in the Petersburg High School gym Wednesday night.

The class valedictorian was Kyle Hagerman, salutatorian Aaron Murph and the class history was presented by Shalie Dahl and Ben Zarlengo. The keynote speaker was teacher Beau Ward. Here’s an audio postcard from Wednesday’s ceremony.
The graduates were awarded scholarships from local donors totalling 75-thousand, 450 (75,450) dollars this year. The class gifted its remaining money, just over a thousand dollars to fix up seats in the student run Northern Nights movie theater.
