Some 45 colorful prints and paintings of local flora and fauna are on display at Miele Gallery in Petersburg this month. It’s the first solo show for local painter and printer Cindi Lagoudakis.
She’s retired from a career with the U.S. Forest Service and works now for the Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. When she’s not working there or serving on the borough assembly, Lagoudakis has been experimenting with several kinds of printing. She also uses stenciling, painting and collage in her work. Joe Viechnicki spoke with Lagoudakis about her show.
