A sculptor who just moved to Petersburg last year opens up a show at Miele Gallery on main street Friday, August 26, although local art enthusiasts may already be familiar with his artwork.

Jon Pust, originally from Montana, has lived in Alaska for decades and has had his stone sculptures on display at Petersburg galleries for the past 20 years. He expects to show about 28 pieces at the gallery. Joe Viechnicki spoke with him about his work.
An opening for Pust’s (POOSTS) show is tonight from 5-7 at Miele Gallery.
