The ninth annual Rainforest Festival kicks off on Thursday. After a full four days of events and activities, it will culminate in a wild foods dinner structured around locally foraged ingredients. Pickled antipasti, black cod and rhubarb sorbet are just a few of the dinner’s offerings. Abbey Collins spoke with festival organizer Sunny Rice to learn more about what’s on the menu.
Wednesday is the last day to buy a ticket for the Taste of the Rainforest Wild Foods Dinner. For more information call the visitor’s center at 772-4636. We’ll have more on upcoming festival events and activities throughout the week on KFSK News.
