The annual Rainforest Festival begins Thursday. Festival committee member and organizer Sunny Rice says the four-day event looks at the rainforest in the broadest sense, with an emphasis on how humans interact with the environment. There are events for people of all ages. Abbey Collins spoke with Rice for more details about those activities geared toward younger members of the community.
