Searchers Wednesday night were able to find a lost middle school student near the Ravens Roost Trail outside of Petersburg.

Alaska State Troopers, Petersburg Police Department and volunteers with the fire department’s Search and Rescue team joined members of the community who were out looking for 12-year-old Noah Willis. He had gone for a run around 6 p.m. Wednesday and failed to return home. State Troopers joined the search before 10 p.m. and say the boy was found near a spur of the trail with no injuries. He was returned home around 11:30.
