HBO Vice crew spends a week filming in Petersburg

An HBO film crew was in Petersburg last week documenting a few topics for their nightly news program, Vice News Tonight.

The crew of four spent the week following resident Malena Marvin, who is receiving chemotherapy treatment for cancer. And they filmed KFSK staff and volunteers to understand how proposed cuts to public broadcasting would affect a small, rural town.

So here’s an obvious disclosure…they filmed all of us at the station.

This film crew is based in Washington D.C. and they work mostly on politics.
