Petersburg’s tribe, Petersburg Indian Association, elected new board members this month. Tracy Welch was elected as the new board president. Three board seats were up for grabs as well, each for a two year term. Those seats went to Mary Ann Rainey, Guylynn Etcher, and Kayla Perry.
The results are unofficial until the board meets February 5 to certify them.
Other existing board members include Brenda Norheim, Fillmore Evenson, and Cris Morrison.
