Petersburg police say they arrested two local residents Wednesday, March 21 and seized 50,000 dollars of methamphetamine from a home near downtown.
The local police had assistance from the Juneau police department and served a search warrant at 31 Towne Trailer Court, near the corner of Fourth and Kiseno streets, according to a press release. Officers reported finding around 500 doses of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of 50,000 dollars.
Police arrested 53-year-old Carlos Sandoval-Roque and 49-year-old Helen Olson and expected the two to appear in court on charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance Wednesday afternoon.
