This Saturday, October 26 is the 43rd edition of Petersburg’s Oktoberfest Art Share, an arts, crafts and food fair featuring work by vendors from near and far.
This year over 50 booths will be offering jewelry and art work for sale along with holiday gifts and baked goods.
It’s sponsored each year by the Muskeg Maleriers, a local group dedicated to rosemaling, or traditional Norwegian decorative painting. That group will be raffling off some of their handmade work again this year. Joe Viechnicki spoke with two of the organizers Sally Dywer and Jean Curry.
The art share is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the community gym. The quilt show and auction also happens in the high school commons on Saturday.
