Friends and family are mourning the death of a former Petersburg man who was working on a tug boat in Maryland.
Jordan Birchell, 29, passed away suddenly on January 2nd, 2020 from a cardiac episode while working on a boat based in Baltimore.
He’s the son of Marsha and Ed Birchell, grew up in Petersburg and is a 2009 graduate of Petersburg High School. He leaves behind a wife and two young children in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Memorial services are yet to be scheduled.
