Petersburg’s new middle and high school principal visited the district and met with students, staff and community members last week.
58-year-old Ambler Moss started his career as an elementary teacher in 1996 in Los Angeles.
He’s been a principal at the middle and high school level in Los Angeles and San Diego area, along with head of schools in Guatemala and Myanmar. He’s fluent in Spanish. In 2019 he taught middle school English in Hooper Bay and says he was interested in returning to the 49th state.
