Petersburg School District’s Finance Director Karen Morrison is resigning at the end of the school year. Morrison has held the position for twelve years. She’s moving to Juneau to work for the State Department of Education in their finance department.
KFSK’s Rachel Cassandra talked to her about time in Petersburg, her transition, and how she landed in the realm of finance. Morrison says her path was far from linear.
Morrison is resigning in June. She held the position for twelve years and will help train her replacement.
