School started Tuesday for most students in Petesrburg. Several new teachers are joining the Petersburg School District this year. Sharon Paulsen is one of two new fourth grade teachers. She and her family moved to Petersburg from Juneau, where she taught middle school art. Most of her teaching experience has been with middle and high school age kids, and she told KFSK’s Hannah Flor that she looks forward to the enthusiasm of elementary students.
