Two Petersburg high school seniors competed in last weekend’s state wrestling championship in Anchorage. Angus Olsen took 3rd in the heavyweight division and Kaden Duke took 6th in the 171 pound weight class.
Coach James Valentine told KFSK after the tournament “I’m happy to have been part of their growth, not just as wrestlers, but as humans. I’m proud of who they’ve become.”
Mitkof Middle School wrestling starts in early January.
