Petersburg Indian Association is hosting a job fair on Friday, March 28. Information about job openings and training opportunities will be available from 1–6 p.m. in the John Hanson Sr. Hall. And as PIA Tribal Administrator Jalyn Pomrenke told KFSK, the job fair is open to anyone in the community.
Petersburg high schoolers prepare to perform Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”

This week, Petersburg High School’s theater program presents Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.” The play centers on two romantic pairings, the duality of their love stories, along with some highly entertaining comedic moments. Drama students prepared all year for this show, including back-to-back rehearsals in the days before opening night.
Silver Bay Seafoods announces buyout of OBI

Silver Bay says it plans to manage all OBI facilities and operations, including processing plants in Petersburg, Seward, Kodiak, Larsen Bay, Egegik, Wood River, Cordova, and Naknek, as well as a warehouse and labeling facility in Kent, Washington.
